Experienced and Hands-on Financial Accountant

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join the team in Denmark. In this role, you will play a key part in our finance operations, contributing to a strong and reliable financial setup within an international organization.
You will join a finance team, working closely with dedicated colleagues in Denmark, Germany and the US. We value professionalism and collaboration – and believe that an informal tone and a sense of humor help create a great international working environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain General Ledger and Accounts Receivable subledger, including invoice handling and dunning process
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with DK GAAP and US GAAP, including intercompany reconciliation
- Assist with financial variance analysis and weekly reporting
- Handle accounting tasks for a smaller EU subsidiary within the group
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of compliance processes and frameworks
Your Qualifications
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles and minimum two years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with financial reporting in an international environment, including individual and consolidated financial statements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus, but not a requirement
