Finance & Accounting Specialist

On behalf of our customer in the Copenhagen region, People In Action is looking for a motivated Finance & Accounting Specialist who enjoys working with numbers, structure, and international collaboration.
In this role, you will have a broad range of responsibilities across accounting, reporting, and financial operations while working closely with colleagues across Europe and the US. The position requires a high degree of independence and the ability to manage tasks proactively in a lean international setup.

Your responsibilities
• Handle daily accounting tasks and maintain General Ledger activities
• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing and follow-up
• Support monthly and yearly closing activities
• Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Participate in improving financial processes and compliance procedures
• Collaborate with international colleagues across finance functions
What we’re looking for
• Experience from a finance or accounting position
• Understanding of accounting and reporting processes in an international company
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a structured manner
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent Danish and English skills
• Familiar with ERP systems such as NetSuite is an advantage
